ANCA-WR TO PARTICIPATE IN KPCC-FM’S “TALK OF THE CITY” FORUM ON THE STATE OF HUMAN RELATIONS IN LOS ANGELES

GLENDALE, CA – On Monday, January 30th, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the City of Los Angeles’ Human Relations Commission, KPCC’s “Talk of the City” program will convene a special forum that will explore the state of relations between the different communities that make up Los Angeles. The roundtable discussion will be moderated by “Talk of the City” show host Kitty Felde. The Armenian National Committee of America – Western Region (ANCA-WR) will be representing the Armenian American community, joining representatives from other communities. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa will be among the featured speakers at the forum.

Other organizations participating in the forum will include the City of Los Angeles Human Relations Commission, the Korean American Coalition, the California Community Foundation, the Jewish Labor Committee Western Region and the Muslim Public Affairs Council. The forum will be recorded and will be aired on KPCC’s “Talk of the City” show on Tuesday, January 31, from 2-3 pm on 89.3 FM. The Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) is the largest and most influential Armenian American grassroots political organization. Working in coordination with a network of offices, chapters, and supporters throughout the United States and affiliated organizations around the world, the ANCA actively advances the concerns of the Armenian American community on a broad range of issues.
