Urge CA Senate Passage of AJR 32
On May 8, 2014, the CA Assembly passed the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic legislation by a resounding vote of 72-1. This was the first time such a measure was adopted in the history of the CA Legislature.
The resolution has now moved to the CA State Senate for consideration.
Please take a moment to write and call CA Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg asking him to support full Senate passage of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Resolution (AJR 32), which encourages and supports the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh’s continuing efforts to develop as a free and independent nation.
Simple type in your name, address and email address and click “Send Message!” Senator Steinberg will immediately receive your letter. Please also consider using the ANCA “Tell-A-Friend” feature to encourage friends and family to take action on this important issue.

Hello. My name is [NAME] and I am calling from [CITY/TOWN].
I would like to encourage the Senator to support AJR 32, which encourages and supports the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh’s continuing efforts to develop as a free and independent nation when the resolution comes to a vote.
Adoption of AJR 32 would be a proper way to validate the spirit of self-determination within the Armenian people, a spirit which led to freedom for all people who had been subjugated for 70 years by the Soviet Union, a spirit which was at the core of the birth of our nation in 1776. As representatives of the people, our state legislature should embrace the acts of courage by thousands of Californians who risked their lives for the sake of freedom by supporting AJR 32.
