GLENDALE — Representatives of the Armenian National Committee of America –Western Region held a meeting with candidate for Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo, to discuss a number of issues of concern to the large Armenian American community in the Los Angeles area.
During the meeting the sides discussed a number of concerns, including at-risk youth issues, gang violence, drugs and educational issues. In addition, ANCA-WR representatives brought to the candidate’s attention the need for better representation of the Armenian American community in the City of Los Angeles governance structures.
“As an individual who has been involved with City politics, and as an experienced attorney, Mr. Delgadillo has a keen understanding of the various issues facing Los Angeles, particularly with its ever-evolving demographics,” explained ANCA-WR Executive Director Alex Sardar.
Delgadillo was joined by his aide Kristina Scott and representing the ANCA-WR were Chairman Steven J. Dadaian and Executive Director Alex Sardar.
