Belleville, TX – Armenian youth from across Texas came together for a weekend of adventure, camaraderie, and activism at the AYF Houston Campout, held from March 7-9, 2025. Hosted by AYF Houston, the annual event provided an exciting lineup of outdoor activities, including games, BBQ, music, and adventure, while also serving as a platform for meaningful discussions on Armenian advocacy and civic engagement. Montebello, CA—After years of dedicated advocacy, the official designation of the Armenian Genocide Martyrs Monument, located in Montebello, took place on February 21, 2025. California State Senator Bob Archuleta (SD-30) led the effort to designate the monument, which was passed unanimously by the State Historical Resources Commission earlier in the month. (more...)
