ANCA-WR Is Hiring: Two Full-Time Opportunities
The Armenian National Committee of America – Western Region (ANCA-WR), the largest and most influential Armenian-American grassroots advocacy organization in the Western United States, is currently seeking passionate and qualified individuals to join our team.
We are hiring for two full-time positions, both based at our Glendale, CA office.

Position 1: Government Affairs Coordinator
About the Role:
The Government Affairs Coordinator will oversee legislative, electoral, and governmental relations matters throughout the Western Region. This position plays a central role in advancing ANCA-WR’s mission of advocacy, civic engagement, and justice for the Armenian Cause.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advocacy strategies at the local, state, and federal levels,
- Build and maintain relationships with elected officials and government staff,
- Organize and execute ANCA-WR Advocacy Days across the region,
- Draft advocacy materials, fact sheets, and action alerts,
- Oversee interns, fellows, and government affairs committee activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in political science, international relations, or related field,
- Experience in government affairs, advocacy, or political campaigns strongly preferred,
- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills,
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Position 2: Project Coordinator – HyeVotes
About the Role:
The Project Coordinator will manage ANCA-WR’s HyeVotes initiative, a non-partisan civic engagement program focused on voter registration, education, and mobilization within the Armenian-American community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead voter registration drives, community workshops, candidate forums, GOTV campaigns,
- Develop bilingual voter education materials in English and Armenian,
- Build partnerships with community organizations and civic coalitions,
- Coordinate media outreach and digital campaign on election engagement.
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteers, staff, and interns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in political science, administration, nonprofit management, or related field,
- Experience in community organizing, civic engagement, or electoral campaigns preferred,
- Knowledge of U.S. electoral processes; Armenian language proficiency strongly preferred,
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills,
- Ability to work evenings and weekends during peak election periods.
