SAVE THE DATE: ANCA-WR ANNUAL BANQUET 2012

July 19, 2012

The Armenian National Committee of America – Western Region (ANCA-WR) announced today that its highly anticipated Annual Banquet has been slated for Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 6PM. The Banquet, which regularly sells out, will be held at the historic Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA. Although further details about this year’s Banquet have yet to be announced, those being honored that evening will represent the diverse backgrounds and personalities of those who dedicate themselves to advocacy on behalf of the Armenian American community, whether through politics, community involvement, the arts, or academia. The event will undoubtedly draw, as it has in the past, among the most influential and active members of the community, as well as high ranking officials and dignitaries. The 2012 Banquet will be coming on the heels of the markedly successful 2011 Banquet where the honorees included Armenian American combat veterans, presidential speechwriter Kenneth Khachigian, Congressman Ed Royce, California State Assembly Member Anthony Portantino, Prelate of the Western Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Moushegh Mardirossian, boxing champion Vic Darchinyan, and community benefactor Hacop Baghdassarian.
