With the June 7 primary elections just around the corner, HyeVotes, in partnership with Armenian Youth Federation – Western US, welcomes the public to attend a 30-Day Election Countdown BBQ for a meet and greet with candidates, political activists, community leaders and volunteers from the community. Event attendees are also welcome to phone bank for HyeVotes to get-out-the-vote!
The HyeVotes Campaign was launched by the Armenian National Committee of America-Western Region in 2012, as a region wide, non-partisan initiative to engage community members in the electoral process. The HyeVotes efforts in coalition with a network of non-profit organizations, student groups, and community members, are intended to register and encourage the community to vote in Elections while also serving as a source for voter information.
