The Ciilician Inheritance that Survived the Armenian Genocide

Join us for a lecture on the “Cilician” Museum artifacts that will be presented by St. Gregory Armenian Church’s Very Reverend Father Barouyr Shernezian in english. The artifacts are sacred remnants from the Armenian Genocide that are currently, displayed in the Cilician museum. They were presented to the museum by the Catholicosate of the Holy See of Cilicia. These sacred artifacts are used during liturgy and allow us to take a trip into the past and better understand their importance during one of Armenia’s greatest tragedies.

At a time when the Armenian Genocide is being staunchly, denied it is important to not only remember our past but also, to continue to educate ourselves and our surrounding community on the atrocities that occurred at the start of the 20th century.
