ANCA-WR Advocacy Day

Please join the the Armenian National Committee of America – Western Region (ANCA-WR), the Bay Area ANC, and activists from across California at the ANCA-WR Advocacy Day in Sacramento on Monday, April 15.

The Bay Area ANC is providing transportation from San Francisco to Sacramento at no cost to participants. To reserve your space, please submit your contact information using the below link by Wednesday, April 10. While space is limited, we will make every effort to accommodate you. If you have no need for transportation but wish to attend Advocacy Day, please email us at mail@ancsf.org for more information.

The ANCA-WR Advocacy Day attracts hundreds of activists from across the Golden State annually and serves as an important opportunity to educate state legislators on the Armenian Genocide and other issues of concern to Armenian Americans. This year’s Advocacy Day is particularly important as the November elections brought in a large number of freshman legislators.

The day’s events will include visits to various legislators’ offices, a commemoration of the Armenian Genocide on the State Senate and Assembly floors, and a photo exhibition in the Capitol’s Rotunda showcasing Armenian American inventors who have contributed to the State of California and the United States.

Anyone from the Los Angeles area interested in Advocacy Day should email tereza@anca.org for more information or register for transportation and lodging at www.itsmyseat.com/ancawr.

We hope you will join us at Advocacy Day on Monday, April 15 in Sacramento.
