Join us for an exhibition of Scout’s photographs, along with images by students at the TUMOxAGBU center in Stepanakert, which capture life in landmine impacted communities in the Armenian-enclave of Nagorno Karabakh and the humanitarian work of The HALO Trust to clear these deadly mines.
Although best known for her work documenting the Barack Obama campaigns, Armenian-American photographer Scout Tufankjian spent much of her career working in the Middle East and her book, “There is Only the Earth: Images from the Armenian Diaspora Project”, is the culmination of six years spent documenting Armenian communities in over 20 different countries.
Remarks will start at 8pm and refreshments will be served.
