The European Armenian Federation for Justice
and Democracy, EAFJD, is a grassroots organization,
representing the European citizens of Armenian origin. It is
the main interlocutor promoting the Armenian issues in the
European Union and international organizations, such as the
Council of Europe and the OSCE. The European Armenian
Federation is the umbrella organization of the committees for the defense of the Armenian Cause in Europe, also called Armenian National Committees (ANCs), currently fourteen: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Sweden, United Kingdom and Spain.

Kasbar Garabedian is president of the European Armenian
Federation for Justice and Democracy. Born in Athens, Greece,
where he received his primary education, Mr. Garabedian
received his secondary education from the Nishan Palandjian
“Jemaran” in Beirut, Lebanon, and his higher education from
the Open University of Patras, Greece, in the field of European
Culture and History. Mr. Garabedian has been an active member of many Armenian organizations, including the ANC of Greece, for which he served as president, Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society, Homenetmen Armenian General Athletic Union and Scouts, the Armenian Youth Federation,
and the Armenian Revolutionary Federation. He has served on the board of the EAFJD since 2003 and as its president since 2012.
