The ANCA-WR will be hosting its annual Advocacy Day on Monday, April 17th in Sacramento, CA. The event is a unique opportunity for Armenian-American activists from across California to visit the State Capitol and advocate for issues of concern to the community. Activists from across the state will gather together in Sacramento to educate the state legislatures and strengthen the network of grassroots activism which forms the foundation of the ANCA-WR.Join the ANCA-WR, the CA Armenian Legislative Caucus, and the California State Legislature in commemorating the 100+2 Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide at the State Capitol in Sacramento.
This is a great opportunity to become active in the community and witness real change!
Advocacy Day will include:
- Genocide Commemoration on the Assembly and Senate Floor in the California State Legislature
- Meetings with your state representatives
- An opportunity to join other activists for social justice
- Time to explore Old Sacramento
